Gijs Van Laer, PhD
Gijs works as a part-time cryptographic engineer at Bolt Labs, where he supports the design and implementation of software systems and platforms such as Bolt’s zkChannels and digital asset management system. Previously, Gijs worked as an analyst and developer for several companies and as a CISO for a large media company in Belgium. He has a M.S. in mathematics and in security informatics. Gijs obtained a Ph.D. in applied cryptography at Johns Hopkins University.
